National Football Museum

The National Football Museum is based at the URBIS building in the heart of Manchester the museum encompasses 4 floors of exhibitions, displays and interactives, as well as Cafe, Shop and learning centre. The museum is home for the world’s greatest football collection – over 140,000 items – including the FIFA Collection, featuring iconic artefacts like The Jules Rimet trophy that was raised in 1966 by Bobby Moore.

The project included interpreting a new brand that had been created specifically for the museum and bringing that to life throughout the space. Working closely with the client team we created a strong graphic approach that was flexible enough to work through hostorical galleries as well as the participation interactives, such as the penalty shootout and ball control tests.

As part of the ongoing work for the Museum which attracted over 1 million visitors in the first 2 years, we have designed a range of exhibitions, from talking about football during the First World War, to celebrating the Football Leagues birthday.
